This year, Camp Meriwether again hosted the National Camping School for the NorthWest. Joe Davis, our committee Chair, was the Director for the Climbing section, supported by Bryce Horine (CPC) and Matthew Robbins (Chief Seattle). We had a total of 6 students, 4 of whom graduated to serve their respective Councils and run climbing programs in Councils from Seattle to Los Angeles.

It is an honor to train Climbing Directors who will go back and enable Scouts all along the west coast of the USA to expand their horizons and learn new skills under skillful and safe supervision.
